It’s 500 days until a unique eclipse in Antarctica
Will you see totality low on the horizon above the floating icebergs?
On Saturday, 4 December, 2021, at 7:33 a.m. UT part of Antarctica will experience a rare total solar eclipse.
This one’s going to be expensive, that’s for sure, but it will be possible to experience totality over the “White Continent” from land, sea and air.
WhenIsTheNextEclipse.com editor Jamie Carter has written all about this unique event in Sky & Telescope magazine in the USA.
Jamie will be lecturing about eclipses onboard Albatross Expeditions’ “Ocean Victory” as part of an exciting 15-day itinerary in Antarctica from November 26, 2020.
